1. About this notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Branded Parcels collects and processes your personal data when you visit our website or mobile applications, what we do with it, how we keep it secure, and the rights you have in relation to it.
2. Who we are
Branded Parcels is a pan-African e-commerce platform. Our platform consists of our marketplace, which connects sellers with consumers; our logistics service, which enables shipment and delivery from sellers to consumers; and our payment service, which facilitates transactions among participants on our platform in selected markets.
This website and/or mobile app is operated by Branded Parcels. Any personal data provided to or collected by us is controlled by Branded Parcels.
3. The data we collect about you
Personal data means any information that can identify you, directly or indirectly. We collect it to provide tailored products and services and to analyse and improve them. We may also use Google Digital Marketing tools to offer targeted products and services to our customers.
A. Information you provide to us, such as:
- Contact details (name, postal address, phone number, email address)
- Demographic information (date of birth, age or age range, gender)
- Online registration information (password and other authentication information)
- Payment information (card details and billing address)
- Responses to customer satisfaction surveys or market research
- Competition entries and submissions
- Your marketing preferences, where applicable
B. Information we automatically collect, generate, or obtain from third parties, such as our carriers, payment service providers, merchants/brands and advertising service providers. This may include:
- Name and age (or predicted age range)
- Information about your device, operating system, browser and IP address
- Unique identifiers associated with your device
- Details of pages you have visited
- Products you have looked at, searched for, viewed, purchased or added to your basket
- Time spent on areas of our website or app, and the date/time of your visit
- Personal data within any user-generated content (such as reviews)
- Social media username, profile photo and related public profile information, where you connect a social account
Where required by law, you can indicate your preference for a personalised experience and targeted advertising via the relevant tick-box on our registration form. You can withdraw this at any time by adjusting your preferences, closing your account, or emailing ghana.legal@brandedparcels.com. Once your account is closed, products and services accessed through it are no longer available.

- Performance of a contract with you — e.g. using your contact and payment details to process and deliver an order.
- Compliance with the law — where we’re subject to a legal obligation.
7. How we share your personal data
We may share your personal data for: sale of products and services (to deliver items purchased from third-party sellers); working with third-party service providers (order fulfilment, delivery, analytics, marketing, payments, customer service); business transfers; and detecting fraud and abuse. Third parties are required to use your data in line with this Notice and applicable law, only for specified purposes and under our instructions — never for their own purposes.

We regularly review and delete or anonymise data we no longer need.

Access is limited to those with a genuine business need, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations. We have procedures to handle any suspected data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator where legally required.
11. Your legal rights
Please keep us informed if your personal data changes. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, request that we transfer it to a third party, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time. You can permanently delete your data by closing your account. We may decline a request that is unreasonable or where we can’t confirm your identity.
